about me: hi, thanks for visiting my profile. personally, i am very much emotional, loving and a compassionate person. these are my core strengths which shape both my personal as well as social outlooks. my needs are small and i live a simple life. i am a kind of self-made person. i have been through many ups and downs in life but i have always fought hard until the end. i have a rural origin, which i cherish a lot. although my roots are traditional, i am mostly in conflict with conservative social values. i believe in equality and i keep trying to practice it in real life. i am passionate about the social cause and i have my own stand on everything. i am a development professional with over 8 years of experience working in the social sector. i hold a master’s degree in social work from tata institute of social sciences, mumbai. if you are wondering about the financial stability, the social sector also has different class of jobs, with varying levels/types of engagement and the income. i personally prefer a job with a greater sense of satisfaction, opportunity to be connected with field realities and of course with a salary that is as enough as to live a decent life. currently, i am working as a consultant with an international bank and doing a research project in bihar. i am an avid learner and i also plan to go for higher studies in future. i am looking for someone 'like-minded': someone who is socially sensitive and has a sense of dislike for structural inequalities, particularly those related to gender and caste. someone who is ambitious and independent-minded, and to whom i could become the best companion—'a companionship where both of us are sensitive as well as accommodating to each other'. about my family: we have a rural origin and we are still connected with our village. we come from a middle-class family. my mother is a housewife. my father passed away a long time ago. i am the eldest son and i have been shouldering family responsibilities since the time my father passed away, and my siblings are more like my children. i am based out of patna where i am living with my mother and a sister. one of my brothers is working with an mnc in mumbai while the rest of my siblings are studying. thanks again. p.s: i have tried to be precise and also be honest in writing up my profile. please feel free to connect if you wish to know more about me. also, i would highly appreciate if you reject the profile straightaway in case it doesn’t match your liking or suitability as that is going to save us a lot of time.
