Marriage is a legal socially accepted union of two people from entirely different families, which declares them as legally wedded husband and wife. Marriage is an intelligent decision as it is about the whole life of a person. Arrange marriages usually happen between people from same castes as the search process involves the participation of family members. But in case of love marriage, people may marry a person from entirely different caste, religion or country. As such, it has not been specified in any law that people can marry a person only from their caste and religion. In our country, a lot of people create problem in marriage in which two people are from different backgrounds. In some cases, people have to go against their family also as they are in deep love with each other. While in some cases, people have to sacriice their love because of family pressure Recently I got a chance to attend an inter-caste marriage. In that marriage, the girl was a Brahmin-Iyer brides and the boy was a Christian. They had convinced their families with a lot of hard work. Finally their hard work was paying off that day. They were extremely happy. Their expressions were clearly expressing their joy of successful love. It was a very touchy moment. I got to attend two functions and that too in different styles. The marriage was in Christian style in church style, while the reception party was in Iyer style. It was an awesome experience. Their families were also happy that day.
